Eye Emergencies

Hugo Henderson has expertise in urgent eye care. He runs the Urgent Eye care service at the NHS Royal Free Hospital and can see private patients on most days at The London Clinic Eye Centre at 119 Harley Street. The clinic is a full service adult eye clinic with over 30 specialists covering all areas of ophthalmology.

The following key information will help with regards to urgent eye care:

– Common conditions are the less serious and do not affect vision or pupils.
– Serious conditions all affect the vision, and/or pupils. These must always be checked.
– For trauma, pay particular attention to the mechanism – high velocity injury needs thorough examination
