Patient Information

Fees

We appreciate choosing a surgeon and a clinic is a difficult decision, therefore it’s important that you are comfortable with the costs. Also that you choose a surgeon that has the correct expertise and experience for your procedure.

Consultation Fee

The fee for an initial consultation is £300 and the fee for any follow-up consultation is £200.

Following your consultation you may need certain tests (such as blood tests or imaging, an X-ray, MRI or CT scan) to help diagnose your condition. If the tests are undertaken by the clinic or hospital, and not by Mr Henderson, the fees for those tests will be determined by the clinic or hospital and charged to you, or your private medical insurer, separately.

If surgical procedures are required, then we will provide you with an estimate of our fees. These fees may not be covered in full by your insurer.

Fees are payable after your appointment and can be paid by direct bank Transfer.

Private Medical Insurance

If you have private medical insurance, please contact your insurer before your consultation, to check the terms of your policy, particularly the level and type of outpatient cover you have, including any reimbursement limits on individual consultation fees. Mr Henderson is recognised by all major insurance companies (exc Vitality), however not all insurers cover his full fee. Please check with your insurance company before your appointment.

Please note that cosmetic surgery such as blepharoplasty is not covered by insurance companies.

Patient Complaints

Mr Henderson sees all private patients at The London Clinic so any patient complaints must follow their complaints procedure. If you have concerns about care, treatment or the services being provided please ask to speak with a member of staff in charge of the department.  This allows for immediate action to be taken to resolve the issues, where possible. There is always a senior member of staff in charge of the hospital 24-hours a day who can be contacted as required. More detailed information on their processes can be found here.

Equity Participation

The London Clinic operates one partnership with doctors, some of whom are referring clinicians.
