Hugo Henderson Recognised in the Spear’s 500

Specialist Training and Clinical Excellence

Mr Henderson completed his specialist ophthalmology training at Moorfields Eye Hospital, followed by fellowships in oculoplastic surgery at Moorfields and at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital within the multidisciplinary Craniofacial Unit.

He is based in private practice at The London Clinic on Harley Street and also serves as a consultant at the Royal Free Hospital, where he manages complex facial surgery cases. His NHS work includes participation in the sub-cranial facial surgery team and leading roles in multidisciplinary care, including thyroid eye disease management.

 

Areas of Expertise

Hugo served as Clinical Director of Ophthalmology at The Royal Free Hospital from 2009 to 2013 and continues to play a leading role there as a member of the hospital’s multi-disciplinary Subcranial Facial Surgery Team, managing complex facial surgery cases. His comprehensive cross-specialty training has enabled him to become one of the few pioneering practitioners to successfully integrate plastic surgery tissue management techniques with highly specialised ophthalmic procedures. He is part of the Oculoplastic Service and the Direct Referral Cataract Service at The Royal Free Hospital.

Mr Henderson is particularly known for:
